Ok I know you asked for answers from guys but I thought you may be interested to know a womans opinion also (sorry if you don't)

I would stay his friend and get involved to the point were you tell him that you don't agree with what he has done and that he really needs to sort out things for his ex-wife and the children he already has before he moves on with his new family it is the least he could do after what has happened in the past.

If you have any idea whatsoever what the word "friend" means, you know what to do. Because he clearly does not. Can you trust that guy for anything ever again? Once a cheater...... Not get involved is a load of crap. If you have a relationship with a family, how can you not???? There is no such thing as claiming to be neutral. Our brain, being the largest computer ever, ticks away an answer to how you feel about every little thing you hear about. In a split nanosec you know how you feel about what you hear or see. Then, making up your mind what to do about it, is another matter.Who needs support here, man??

The easiest thing in the world would be not to get involved. It sounds to me that your friend is acting out of spite. Be a true friend and give him advice to the best of your abilities, based on what you believe to be the correct thing to do. Don't just jump ship because he's being an ***. Who knows he might end up being a better person thanks to you.

I would hope that is why we are all here giving strangers advice!

Good luck!

I'd have to re-evaluate the friendship. He is abusive to his wife which is abhorrent. He is callous to the welfare of his children in that he wishes to sell their home out from under them. He has lied continuously to you and will probably do it again when he starts acting abusively to his "new" family as sadly domestic abusers usually resort to kind.

I would not get involved with the situation but he deserves no loyalty himself.

Well kinda of a tough situation. But standing by and doing nothing is all you can do sometimes.Till the other finds the truth out.If you want to get involved have some proof and i think you care enough to do that.

Listen to both sides and take none, no wonder his wife is out to destroy him, 2 kids to another woman while still married. He played with fire and he got burnt what did he expect.

I would stay his friend but express my views and then it up to him to accept it or break up the friendship. I wouldn't try to make him out to be the good guy cos he certainly ain't no saint from the sound of what you wrote. So in a nut shell...I would stay his friend.

Anyone who hits women and anyone who don't take responsibility for their kids ain't someone youwant to be friends with. No offence your mate sounds a class 'A' knob who deserves a kicking for the afore mentioned actions..

Personally I wouldn't get involved. I'd be there as a friend, but other than that, I wouldn't take sides or get involved.

If a person is a true friend
you will help in anyway you can.
unless they did something serious like child molester or something of that nature
but also make it clear that you detest what he has done.
