NO. Keep in mind that this is "fantasy" Baseball, not real baseball. Rogers has been a solid pitcher for Detroit and a great asset to the team, however, he is NOT a good fantasy option. He gets wins, but with low strikeouts and not the greatest ERA or Whip. Freel, on the other hand, has ad trouble staying in the lineup, but that appears to be resolved this year. He provides a strong average, gets good runs, and lots of the coveted SBs.
Simply, Freel is the better fantasy option!
If you really need pitching, there is likely someone more attractive on the waiver wire unless this is a huge league.

I'm going to say no, Kenny Rogers will have a hard time duplicating his numbers from last year and Ryan Freel will start this year. if Freel is going to ride the bench for you then do the trade because Rogers has a larger upside

Yes. Ryan Freel won't do as good as many players. He stinks and I wouldn't expect much from him. On the other hand Rogers is old yet stil piching strong. This is a steal for you.

i think i would solid picting is key to success and rogers had a great year last year and could be the next roger clemens in terms of old and still good also freel is on a team with little chance at this point even though my hero johnny bench was one that team there not good anymore but freel is averge to say the most really but go with your gut its a gamble but id go with it.

I would not because with Freel, you can have a great utility guy, that can play 3 positions, will great SB, R, and his average will get better this year. But really, it depends on how the rest of your team looks, whether you need pitching or not...

Don't do it. Kenny Rogers WAS a good pitcher. But he's in decline as he gets older, and you don't want to be there when he crashes.
Freel is a good option for cheap SB, and those are harder to find midseason if you need them than is a mediocre pitcher. The latter is dime a dozen.
