I just finished reading this article in a Glamour magazine and I think it's disturbing. What are your opinions on these virginity balls? Here is the website that will take you to the article.

That is kind of disturbing.

I think that idea is ridiculous. If they actually did it, these women would go into marriage completely unprepared. They would have no idea how to deal with their bodies or with men. It's a terrible set up for marriage, and it just puts more stress on women as teenagers. Men aren't encouraged to do things like this. Teenage boys are popular if they sleep around, so virgin girls are looked down upon. If they want to do things like this for girls, they need to do it with their sons too.

I once read that girls who take virginity pledges are five times more likely to give head and have anal sex.

i think they take it too far, i understand a father not wanting her daughter to be having sex but come on the girl that hasnt even had her first kiss
