If you were in Iraq (this is not a war) what would the outcome be?

It would be the same answer for the Bush twins.

Do you want one feedback? Or are you looking for more than one opinion here. As far as I'm concerned, the war probably would not have turned out any differently. But my question is why the hell does this matter? Do think that by some magic stroke your posing this ridiculous question on here will somehow make them join the Army or make their father pull out of Iraq? Why do we feel the need to question why people aren't in the military when our military is 100% volunteer? Why do you think that President Bush's daughters should go to war? Just who in the hell do you think you are? Well don't forget to eat sh!t and GO BUCKEYES!

Unless they possess magical powers - why should they be able to change the course of the war ?
Mark - above - needs to stop listening to the biased lib media . Pres. Bush Sr. ignored family tradition at Yale , to become the youngest aviator in the Navy after the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor in 1941 ; flew numerous missions ; was shot down , and still went back for more .G.W. Bush comes from a family who gave a life-time of service to his country . When does the media ever tell truth about anything that does not benefit the party ?

If Bush's daughters were in this war? Well then Bush would be in favor of a pulling troops out of Iraq because he would have the personal connection. But Bush doesn't have a personal connection. It's easy to be tough and send other peoples kids to die as long as doesn't affect your day at the ranch.

Bring back the draft and face the real factual picture as to whether those supporters of the continuing Iraq War would continue their warmongering. Why are so many with children of age for serving in Iraq so unwilling to reinstall the draft, but would not hesitate crying out for other familes' sons and daughters to be shipped off to Iraq?

Honestly? You do care about honesty don't you.

None of us know.

I have to wonder why you would ask such a thing though. Are their lives worth any less than say, your daughter, if you have one, or your granddaughters if you have any of those.

According to your profile you are a senior citizen. Which should mean that you are a mature and wise lady. I wonder why people with those attributes (hopefully) would ask questions just to enflame the situation on a message board like this.

I don't give a darn where your political leanings are Why not put your efforts into solving the division which is ruining this country instead of adding to it.

So because someone doesn't have their own kids in the war, they can't make logical decisions?

I would gladly let the enlisted people vote on whether or not to continue this war. The war would continue with a 95% vote. It's the crybaby liberals who want the war to stop - not our brave men and women who are serving.

Cindy Sheehan is the exception, not the rule. The media lets her get away with looking like she speaks for the majority, but she doesn't. The vast majority of military families understand how fragile our freedom is. That's why they volunteer.

I believe as a parent he would worry about them, as all parents worry about their children. But I don't think anything would change. Being female they would have non-combat positions. But the US cannot pull out until Iraq is stabilized or all hell will break loose just like what Pol Pot did to Vietnam and Cambodia after the US left, mass genocide.

Give you?? They aren't in the war so you'll never find out now will you! They don't have to be there anymore than Chelsea Clinton had to be in Bosnia.
