I have about 100+ VHS movies my favorites I have bought of DVD. I hate to just give them away for free because over the years I spent a lot of money on them. Any suggestions on who might buy them. They are mostly in great shape

Your not going to get but maybe a dollar or two for them. Just donate them. Get a reciept for the value and write them off on you taxes. Just a suggestion.

I know you can convert vhs movies to DVD. I would suggest trying that first so you don't feel the "loss" when you get rid of the tapes. Then, if I were you, I'd donate them to a women's shelter if they're family movies, or have a yard sale. You won't get more than about $1 per movie. Sorry hon, VHS is becoming obsolete.

You can advertise them in your newspaper, older people will buy VHS's(i know from experience, because older people come in to rent VHS's where i work, but the new movies are only on DVD....and they complain)....

or have a yard/garage/tag sale. Have them at a reasonable price. Don't have them for a price that people will be like "that's too expensive, i can get it on DVD cheaper". i saw some for a dollar....and i bought a few.

I think that three of the best ways to be able to get rid of all of your old VHS's that are now obsolete would be to either have a yard sale, big or small, pawn them at a local pawn shop, if you think that the prices would be reasonable enough, or you can advetise them in your local hometown newspaper, which usually works really well too.

If you don't need the cash badly you can donate them to your local library and they can write a reciept for the donation that can be used as a tax write off next year. We often grant $5 per tape as the donated value of older tapes which can add up to some tax savings.

have a yard sale. lol. pawn shops. Some used cd/movie places will take them. Without knowing what city you're in & living in that city, i don't think anyone can give you specifics. E-bay?
