All these silly hearings and all in the name of hatred. When are the good people of USA going to make our Gov. straighten up. Bush ISN'T starting any of this. But he's going to finish it

1) These "silly hearings" were demanded by the good people of the United States, who elected a Democratic House and Senate last year, to uncover just how much corruption has been happening in the White House over the last 6 years. So far, the list is extensive. It's not out of hatred, but out of a desire to fix the mistakes of an idiot president.

2) Bush ISN'T starting any of this- he already DID, in March of 2002. Remember that time he invaded Iraq on false pretenses, when we were already engaged in a war with Afghanistan?

3) Bush CAN'T POSSIBLY finish it. He's only president until January 25, 2009. If the war could be wrapped up by then, we'd have a timetable for withdrawal. He's committed us for "the long haul".

Pretty pathetic isn't it.

I don't see it changing any time soon. There isn't a soul in this world that can't see what is happening. There is absolutely no desire to solve this countries problems. The goal is to destroy Bush. If they can't destory him in one way they will continue down this path until they find a way.

Remember all of those Republicans that put the Democrats over th top in the last election? Well... times are changin. Maybe not for the Republicans holding office in Washinton, but for the Republicans across this country, they are starting to get tired of the empty promise that the Democrats made about all of this bi-partisanship and working *together* in Washington. It was a lie. Nothing, not one promise that the Dems made to *those* Republicans have been fulfilled. Quite the opposite.

I was a Democrat and I have lost all faith in them.

The democrats bash Bush because they don't have any type of exit strategy either. When have you ever hear a democrat give a solution to end the war in Iraq?

What are people of this country supposed to be protected form? Because if it is natural disasters, it is the government's duty, and the government has the power (unlike ordinary citizens) to protect the people. And in normal countries, their governments are the ones who provide financial help for victims of natural (and other) disasters.

Democrats continue todo this so they are able to "bedazzle" some of us, with all of their windblowing and dilly dallying so when another fellow DEM gets elected, they can do what they want...they think. Not all of us are being "sandbagged". There's more of us out here, thinking than they're counting on!

Bush isn't going to finish anything. He has no power whatsoever over what the Congress does. I applaud them for trying to put and end to the tyrrany of the last six years.

Because they don't have a plan for protection. Their whole strategy to win the election was "We're Not Bush" and a whole bunch of dumbasses fell for it. They never had a plan for anything and they probably won't get one, which is why the republicans will probably be back in power in '08 because they will come up with some kind of a plan other than "We're not democrats." At any rate, they're all a bunch of whiney babies who apparently cannot do their job (dems and repubs included). Oh well, what can you do...GO BUCKEYES!

Probably because it needs to be done. Do you honestly think the Republicans would be conducting these hearings. I hate that taste of sour grapes so early in the morning.
