Take the T (subway). Get to the Revere Beach station (Intersection of 220 Shirley Avenue and 300 Ocean Avenue, Revere) to Boston. In 8 stops, you'll be at State. Get off your train and transfer to the orange line, toward Forest Hills. Get off at the next stop - Downtown Crossing. Get off your train and transfer to the red line. Get on a Braintree or Mattapan-bound train and get off at the next stop - South Station.

Take the Blue Line to Government Center. Go upstairs on the escalator you will be right in front of the trains you need to take. Take the B, C, D, or E if you are unsure ask someone. Take train to Park Street Station. At Park look for the trains that say Braintree or Ashmont and get of at South Station

What's the background or reason for this Q? (If you live in the Boston area the answers are so simple you would know them; if you plan to visit the city from afar it is a bit strange Q to ask for a couple of reasons, which I need not detail here, but I will, if you request, if you Add Details).
