Take 'angelfac's' advice and do it soon. A hostel may not be the best place, but accessing some temporary emergency accommodation may be your best option to start with. Your local council's Emergency Housing Dept should also be able to recommend other housing agencies which could provide low cost, safe accommodation. If you're homeless because you're fleeing domestic violence, then a safe house or women's refuge would be your best option - again ask at your local council Housing Dept. Becoming a mum will be the biggest change you've ever experienced. Is there anyone who can help you through this? You're gonna need lots of support in bringing up this little one, especially in the early days. If there's anyone who you can trust to support you - be sure to accept and ask for it. Hope things work out for you.

go to yourl local council housing office they can offer you more and a lot quicker if you move into a council house you will be put to the top of the listaas you are pregnant and homeless once they offer you somewhere they give you forms to fill in and send off which gets you housing and council tax benifit so you will only pay so much you will automatically get 25% reduction because you will be living alone or if you have already found somewhere private go to the council first thing and tell them the situation and they will fill in forms with you to get benifits good luck and congrats on the baby

if you can get a private let you would go to your local council benefit dept and apply for housing and council tax benefit. any council or citizens advice bureau could help you with entitlements.
