Hey guys,
Was wondering whether you can get implantation bleeding around the time of your scheduled period. I am due tomorrow and today have had some think brown discharge that I don't usually get around this time. Usually if I am getting my period it would be light pink, but this is really a dark brown. Was just curious..?

If you ovulated late in your cycle it could be implantation bleeding. Usually, I have just the tiniest specks of bright red bleeding when it is implantation but I do know women who have brownish like you mentioned.

I'd wait 2 weeks, just in case you did ovulate late, and if you still haven't started, take a test.

Best Wishes!

Yes, you can definitely have implantation bleeding around the time your period is due. It usually takes 6 to 12 days for a fertilized egg to travel to the uterus and attach itself. And most females ovulate about 14 days after the start of their periods. So for you, this would mean that you ovulated a little over two weeks ago (which is a little late), conceived, and would now be having implantation bleeding. However, you should wait and see if your period comes because this could just be the start of your period.

No...if u have any spotting right around the time your period is due its safe to say your not pregnant...Women have implantation bleeding when the baby implants itself which is about 8 days or so before the next period and even then it will be just a scanty amount of pink discharge that lasts shorter than a day and u will not see a heavier flow or any other kind of spotting....Babies dont implant right before the period..Good Luck!
