There's this boy at school that makes me SO mad!!! He thinks that he's the smartest one in the world, and that i am stupid because I was in special edd throughout the elementary school and middle school. Even now, i'm in special edd algebra because the normal stuff is too hard for me.
While i was reading, he came up to me and said "What are you doing?"
I said "What does it look like?"
He said "I know what it "looks" like your doing, but what are you REALLY doing?"
Well, i got mad and said "I'm reading, and your interrupting me!"
He laughed and said "I didn't know you had the brain capacity to do that!!! Aren't you in special edd, or something?"
That made me so frekin' mad!!! He may be in regular edd, but his report card is at a 2.4 grade point average.
I, on the other hand, have 5 A's, and 3 B's!!! I even got an A in Algebra. What the heck is he talking about??? I even told him i was majoring in english... guess he's the retarded one, right!!! He should go away!!!

You know he only puts you down because it makes him feel superior. You know that you are not stupid, and I commend you for doing so well. So the best way to handle him is to ignore him. When you argue with him, you only give him ammunition to use against you. I know it's hard to ignore a buffoon, but try it, you'll see. It will drive him nuts. Soon he will get tired of picking on you because he can't get a rise out of you.
Also. There is nothing wrong with being in special ed. It just shows that you want to learn and that is the best way for you. It does not mean you are stupid. It only means that you need a little extra help in some areas. And good for you for asking for help. Shows how smart you really are!
Another reason he may be picking on you is because he likes you. Boys tend to behave that way because they sometimes have a hard time expressing their feelings. But if you really don't care for him, that's ok. Still, try ignoring him.

Yes, he is the retarded one! No matter what classes you are taking, if you get good grades that should be all that matters! Also, where in the world do you go to school that the teachers are too buisy to realize that one ignorant student is picking on a good student who doesn't cause problems? The teacher should have sent him to the office or something! And if he was my kid I'd be his BUTT!

Just ignore the little jerk. Like I always tell my son, don't ever give in to these types of people. Don't let it bother you. What he says means absolutely nothing. Hang in there and keep up the good work!

Don't waste your time being mad......cuz he probably likes you. Why else would he spend his time making you feel a certain kinda way. If you are banging out grades like that then he needs to be asking you pointers, not trying to make you feel bad. Don't worry, guys act like that all the time.

Report him to your principal and don't let the principal drop the situation. This is bullying and a form of abuse. If he continues to bother you, let your parents know, let your friends and other teachers know. Don't keep you anger bottled up, but do put an end to his bullying.

Hey, welcome to the world! There will always be people who like to make you feel bad, want to make you mad--it perks up their silly little egos. Just look at him like he's a bit dense, maybe shrug your shoulders a little, and get back to whatever you were doing. Don't let him get you mad--that's what he wants, so why give it to him?
