The Beatles - no comparison...they composed nearly all of their own songs, did their vocals and played their own instruments. Elvis wasn't much of a musician- was not a lyricist nor a composer..and in my opinion? Somewhat over-rated.

Well Elvis was first and he led the way for the British invasion to begin. The Beatles came next. So I'm going with Elvis.

The Beatles all the way .Elvis was good but he never wrote a song. The Beatles(Lennon and McCartney wrote 99% of their stuff)not only wrote it ,they played better than any group of the time.Elvis struggled with a C chord.Elvis would have maybe 3 good songs per LP whereas the Beatles ...every song was good, even Ringo's.
Also ,they are one of the only groups to have alternating lead singers.Although John wanted to be the "Guy" Paul certainly could out sing him and George could hold his own.Ringo was cute and cuddly.but not much of a singer.
