If John Edwards wife dies from the cancer can he use that to become President?

I guess it takes a question as brutally worded as this to get some people to realize my point. If you read the news John Edwards will continue his run. He mentions that he will do so even with the wifes cancer. Fine let him do so. But why, anyone liberals, Conservatives, answer this, does he feels the need to go on the news and spout the fact about the cancer? It is no ones business but the families.

i don't think that will help him become president - just because you feel sorry for someone doesn't mean that he should be president. I think people are wiser and more politically minded.

I detest John Edwards as a politician. I also think your question is offensive. Please have a heart and show a little class here. The man's wife is very ill. God forbid it happen to you or any of your loved ones. Call him an ambulance-chasing shyster if you want but leave his wife's illness out of this.

He could derive a cure for her cancer, and he would still never become President. I wish his wife the best, but that man is so far Left he is horizontal, which is something the majority of Americans will not support through voting.

Do you actually have a point? You seem to post just to incite and inflame. This is a prime example of why people are so fed up with partisanship, to sink to the level of a child in an attempt to impress the like minded is something that most of us outgrew long ago. If you feel the need to act like a child, don't be upset when people treat you as one.

I missed the memo that said cancer was a liberal disease,
by that token I suppose, Alzheimer's must be a conservative one?

No. He'd still have to be elected. Some may pity him enough to vote for him (very few would use that reason alone, I hope). It may get his name out there more so that MAY help. But as far as "using it to become President" is a stretch. BTW, I hope she recovers fully.
