Marbury smokes him. One on One Marbury beats majority of the NBA easy. Marbury handles the ball better and is a better scorer then Nash, Marbury would have no issues taking Nash to the basket. Also, I think Nash would have issues getting to the rim on Marbury, Nash uses a lot of screens to get that initial first step on people and there obviously would be no screens.

Nash will win. Marbury has softened up in the past few years. Even at a place where he can lead the team in scoring and assists, he still doesn't play up to his true potential. His time is gone. Nash has improved, on the other hand, year after year, and it's not just assist and leadership, scoring as well. He would have been a 25+ pt avg scorer if his teammates are any less reliable in that category. Point is, he doesn't need to score to win against a team the most of the time, but when he is needed, he will drain jumpers, 3s, beat you on and off the dribbles, and pull acrobatic shots. Marbury..., is outdated.
Some people think Nash has terrible 1-on-1 defense, so is Marbury any better?

I'm a Suns fan but Marbury would take Nash in a one on one game. Nash is a true point guard while Steph is a street baller and is bigger and stronger than Nash. One on one games are right up Marbury's alley.

I believe Stephon Marbury
But don´t compare two different personaities, Steve Nash assists so well that not even 2 Starburies would match his assists.
I still think that Marb would win because he is a street player more than a professional team player, if he is in the NBA other players deserve to be in (Like And 1´s Professor)

Starbury would win and he would win pretty easily. starbury is known for his killa handles and slick street ball moves. nash is a much more of a team player, he doesnt look stronger than marbury so stephon can easily post him up and score, and nash probably cant stay with marbury. i think that all street player (starbury, franchise, baron davis, the answer, skip to my lou) all have an advantage over the other nba players simply because they know all the street moves and how they can use them succesfuly against defenders like artest, wallace, and bruce bowen. notice that if one of these streetballers i mentioned were to be holded by one of those good defenders, than they will make the highlight reel. streetballers just seem to get more better when they are playing against. its as if they like the challenge and look forward to doing them up.

Stephon Marbury would win easily in street rules for two reasons. One is that Starbury plays like he is all alone sometimes and two Nash's success depends only on how good his team is.

i would have to take nash on this one. nash is one of the best shooters there is. he shoots 50% as a gaurd. people say he would have trouble getting to the rim but he doesnt have too with how accurate he is with his three. once marbury steps up to stop the three nash could dribble him. marbury is a good player but not as good as nash. a few years ago i woulda taken marbury but not now

With no rules, Stephon would kill Nash. Nash needs people around him to be as good as he is. remember he recieved his MVP's for assists. Stephon does not need to have others around him to score. Also Stephon is a street baller, Nash is Canadian. Nash has back and shoulder problems and with no rules, Stephon would treat him like they were player NBA street Homecourt.
