Well he started a new job last November, and I knew the hours were going to be long, but they seem to getting a little longer and a little longer all the time, while at the same time he is also complaining that business is slow. I sometimes notice scratches on his back, he says that he does it himself scratching his back, well it is possible, they are in a place where it is possible for him to each. I found some make-up in our house, that is not mine, but we just moved here less than a month ago, and everyone says it could be something left behind from before. I do not want to leave him, but I will not be mistreated or disrespected, so I will do what I have to. If I find out for sure he IS cheating I will not hesitate to remove myself from the situation. I dont have any hard evidence, and I cant afford a private investigator. What should I do?

Do whatever you have to do. Check his pockets, go through his cell phone. See how often these scratches appear. I think any woman knows the difference between love making scratches from another woman and accidental work scratches. You don't deserve to be disrespected in this way and if you have time follow him or have a friend of yours do it for you. But don't just sit around waiting for it to be revealed. Men can hide things like that for a very long time before you ever really get hard evidence. Don't wait for him to slip up go get the evidence yourself.

One sugestion that I have is to go to his job. He should not have a problem with you accompanying him on the job. Getting a private investigation just emphasizes the fact that you do not trust him. You need to watch carefully his habits when he is home. Check your phone. Listen to the answer machine. Keep track of calls and mail that come to your place. In other words, be on top of your game, as it were.

Has he changed. For instance, if you two had sex let's say 3-4 times a week for as long as you were married, has it changed to 1x/week. That is an example. I do not need to know about your private affairs such as the one I mentioned in the previous sentence, but are there any notice in changes in habits, times he goes to work. Smell his clothes. Is there a mix of cologne and another woman's fragrance that you do not wear. Those are some of the things that can be done.

Thanks

have you asked him? Are you getting along lately or fighting alot? Hows the sex life? Is he not as interested anymore? These are all clues that could help- You said that you just moved in together- sounds like he's making a commitment to you but you never know- some guys are never satisfied, maybe you should call him late-when he's supposed to be at work - and drive by to see if he is really there! Thats what I would do-and don't just see if his car is in the parking lot because he could just leave his car there and leave in her car- if he's smart that is(thats what I would do)- hope this helps!

If he tells you he is working late, I would stake out his work, see if he is really there, or if he leaves. If he leaves, follow him. I would have a talk with him first. Don't accuse him of anything. Make it a comfortable situation. As him of everything is ok between the two of you. Ask him if there are any problems in the relationship that he wants to work on. Give him a chance to tell you. If he is telling you everything is ok, and you still have doubts, then ask him.

Good luck.

be your own investigator. pop in the office one day unexpectedly. take him a lunch or something so you have a reason and tell him you wanted to suprise him. you may not catch him in the act but you can usually tell if something is going on by the way people in the office act. no one can keep a secret. body language is also a big factor. watch if any women flirt with him. if you cant make it to the office try something else, ask him for the truth, chances are if you ask him enough he will ocme clean

Women have built in...intuition...your red warning signals are going off and your trying to avoid them...apparently there is something that he is doing that makes you feel this way. If you have doubt...follow it out! Ask him and what ever the answer is you'll have to decide if your going to believe it or not....Maybe you haven't seen the reality show called "Cheaters"....the one thing that all the mates of the cheater have in common are..."that feeling that he/she is cheating on me". Yeah he may have scratched his back with his own nails...but tell me....does he have long nails or hangnails even?

Maybe you are overreacting just a little. No matter what the problem is you cant be making it better by constantly questioning him if he is cheating you will catch him just keep your mouth shut and your eyes open. Check on things without you checking on things, YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN! Then take action when you get the proof.

Either he's cheating and you need to leave, or you just don't trust him so you need to leave. Scratches on the back and other women's belongings in my house is all the evidence I would require, personally.

ask him... my experience has been if you even suspect its probably going on. a secure , loving , and trustworthy relationship does not let cheating enter into it.
so try these few tips if you must
1/ check his wallet
2/ record mileage on the car
3/ show up at home without calling home{ say your sick}
4/ visit the job ( or as i have done sit in the lot unnoticed} you will probably find out something that way.

good luck
