I am looking at a Honda Prelude with 80,000 miles. It is in excellent condition, 4-cylinder, 5-speed, and has other extras such as alloy wheels and premium sound. It's listed at $8900. Before I buy it, I am going to have my mechanic check it out. Does this sound like a good price to you, or could I talk the dealer down a little?

Unless it has some performance upgrades, keep shopping, you can find a better deal

I have a 98 Honda and it is only worth about $5000. Milage is still pretty good. If a Honda is well taken care they should last past 300,000.

That's way too much for a 97. $6000 would be more like it.
