Years ago, a long time ago, when I was on the school bus. I over heard my bus driver say something that still to this day sticks to me. She said, she never wanted to turn 40 and have regrets of not speaking up for herself. She was talking to someone else at the time, but her saying that, had me thinking about that at an early age. I found my voice, I stuck up for myself, and people stopped walking all over me. I have brought my daughter up the same way. Im glad I found a voice. When you have no voice, how do you expect people to hear what you really think or feel?
