I saw this movie when I was young and don't remember the actors or name, but it is about a young girl who is taught to sing by a rich man who lives alone with the exception of his butler. He is disfigured (maybe burnt) and reminds me of the Phantom of the Opera. He teaches the girl to sing from deep within using her stomach to produce a strong sound. In the end she performs at a local show and does great thanks to him. In the end she sees him again and he is not disfigured anymore. Can someone help?

The guy was tutoring a girl and there was no molestation conspiricy. This was a really sweet movie so it is not Man Without a Face but the plot sounds kind of similar so thanks for your responses!

The Movie is called Rigoletto. He has a disfigured face and the girl comes to learn how to sing to be in a competition and he is said to have been a prince in a fairy tale and he wears a phantom of the opera type mask. He also teaches one kid how to stop stuttering and heals some kids leg, but the townspeople think he's a monster so they kill him and burn down his mansion. I think it is one of those Feature Films for Families movies.

its not 'man without a face' with mel gibson. He wasn't rich & didn't have a butler. He was a teacher & had nothing to do with singing. I don't know what it is but its not that.

the man without a face? i think that may be right go to netfilx and type that in and see if it's right nope dont think thats right but a good place to check movie names titles and actors is netflix just type what you know in the search and it'll bring up actors movies and genreas of all of it
