As soon as you miss a period, you can take a pregnancy test. You're most generally pregnant before you even miss your period.

I was three days late, and I'm never late, when I decided to take a test.
Later on I was looking up symptoms of pregnancy and foundout that I was experiancing symptoms two weeks earlyer. I just thought that strange things were happening because the birthcontrol that I had just stoped taking was leaving my system.
So if you're late and think you may be pregnant invest in two pregnancy tests. I just bought the Wal Mart brand. Take them, about a day or two apart just to make sure. Then you should go to the doctor and get checked out just in case you are pregnant or there's something life indangering going on inside of you.
By the way I'm 38 weeks and 1 day Pregnant. I'm having a girl!! At first I freaked out and thought that I wasn't ready, But know I just want to see what she looks like and hold her in my arms. I'm still not looking forward to poopy dipers.
Don't feel bad for the bad spelling, not everyone can win a spelling bee.(I Know I wouldn't.). Pluss the people that make fun of you for incorrect spelling have nothing better to do then be jerks on line to people that really need help. They probably have to make fun of people to make their own mistakes not feel so bad.
Don't worry about any of those jerks that make fun of you for asking a question. I'm sure the questions I ask seem dumb to other people too, but when you need help it's better to ask then tho let it fester and get worse. NEVER, feel bad for not knowing something. Atleast you're asking and tring to gain knowlage. That's more then I can say about some people.

In most cases the day you are late you are pregnant "If" you are a woman who has a regular cycle and start on time each month. But alot of thing can cause late periods, stress is a big factor

the usual varies from woman to woman some women are like clockwork with their menstrual cycles while others are unpredictable I would at least wait two missed periods before I started getting worried about being pregnant but if you can't wait that long get a ept test it is improved it can tell you if your pregnant 5 days after your missed period

It wasn't until my period was a day late until I had a positive pregnancy test.At the time that you miss your period,your considered to be about 4 weeks pregnant.When calculating pregnancy, doctors go by the first day of your last period.

if you missed your period and youve been having unprotected sex, you could be pregnant. a missed or late period could be any number of things besides pregnancy.
there is no time frame of how late you have to be to be pregnant. i was less than a week late and took a test on a hunch and surprise!! positive!! very happy about it!!!!
take a test to know for sure!

That depends on how regular your cycle is. Some women can't be sure for a few weeks, where others might know within hours.
