Great players have done most of them things in 11 seasons. Kobe haven't made his mark in any of those things. You guys need to stop making excuses for Kobe. 11 seasons is MORE then enough time to accomplish at least 1 of those things. MJ as a Bull only played 13 seasons & look what he did. MJ & other greats mastered most of them awards in 11 seasons.

Because:
1) He was nothing more than a media hype ever since he stepped foot in the NBA. He came into a made team with Shaq as the most dominant force on this earth since MJ. Shaq won the championships for him as Kobe tagged along and almost lost some of those championships with his ballhogging. His selfishness and bad attitude lost it for them in the finals against Detroit.
2) He's nothing more than an opportunist who takes advantage of poor defensive teams to score a lot of points. He comes in with the mentality of not passing the ball.
3) He's an overrated defensive player (sources: look at his steals per game, and blocks per game the past two seasons).
-----Want to see a real good defensive SG? Look up Michael Jordan's stats in steals....3.0/g, 3.2/game, 2.8/game
4)Kobe is nothing more than a volume shooter (sources: look at his career shooting percentages), even with Shaq taking on all the double and triple teams.
Compare his career shooting fg% to Lebrons and Jordan......players without a dominant force inside.
5) No one cares about the all-star team
6) All his "youngest player to....." records has been broken by Lebron
7) His dunking is overrated (sources: check Jordan, Nique, Dr. J, Jason Richardson, VC, Desmond Mason; & Lebron James.)
8)Look at his Wins to Loss % since Shaq left..........

Shaq was the best player in the league by far when he was a Laker.
He will never win NBA MVP because writers dont like him as a person. They criticized him for shooting to much durin the 81 point game. they also celebrated raja bell for hitting Kobe during the Playoff series
How can u win an assist title when players like john stockton, steve nash, jason kidd, have all played during that era. Jordan only had 1
He's been on the All Defensive team 6 times. Hes been top 5 in steals 7 out of his 11 years.
He was on the bench his rookie year and he won 3'rd place for 6'th man of the year. His second year he was never on the bench unless he was injures.
He has never been in a 3 point shooting contest so i dont know what you are talking about.
He is never goin to win SI sportsman of the year because of the rape thing.
He's a 6'6 shooting guard and you expect him to win the rebounding title.
He was good his rookie year, they only give it to players that really improved(deron williams), or players that did not get much playing time the year b4(kevin martin).
He has never been in the olympics because of the colorado scandal, and then because of his 1'st knee surgery.
allen iverson was the first overall pick and he either led or was 2'nd for everything on his team the 96-97 season.
I dont know y u keep doing this. 90% of people u will meet will say MJ is better but Kobe is a great player. R u afraid that if kobe wins a title by himself people will say hes better than MJ.

jdwj76 please find some help. Kobe won 3 championships 5 years before micheal won 1. KObe has had the leagues highest scoring average last year in over 25 years. Kobe has been first team all Nba most of his career so u cant say he's a bad defender. Kobe is just as good of a shooter as Michael. Kobe has broken so many records there have been . LIke most 3's in a game most points in a half, most pionts in a quarter most consecetive field goals made in a quarter, most consecutive free throws made, and sooo many more for me to name. Obviously your a fan of a team the kobe and the lakers beat in the playoffs sometime, or u just hate seeing kobe kick everyones ***. SO if u don't like kobe thats fine, but don't start telling lies like KObe isn't a good player, because ur embarring ur self and thats just a bunch of bullshit.

Agree with you, when Kobe won that Threepeat, Shaq was the REAL star and Kobe was a supporter of him, maybe that´s why he hates Shaq so much.
If you like to oddly compare Bryant and MJ, you should first look at the championships, and MJ has 3 more, then you should look at the kind of mentality both have to manage their fame, Kobe doesn´t knows when to talk, when to stop talking, plus he has been known for raping
