It's degrading... but it's also probably very profitable.

It is not bad to the women that work there, because they are choosing to work there of their own free will, and yes it does have some sexually suggestive uniforms, it does not exploit these women in any way that they should feel uncomfortable. At any time, they can quit working there.

The uniform, is revealing, but it does cover their legs completely, and the tops are tight, but they (as far as I am aware) are required to cover their midriffs.

Most women that choose to work there, understand what they are getting themselves into, and find it to be very rewarding to them. Some that I have known have made very good life long friends from working there, and truly enjoyed the money and experience.

I am not saying that just any woman should work there. And, yes, they do discriminate against women that are not of their ideal image (body shape, weight, personality) , but for the women that do work there, they are treated well, and can make seriously good money, and get their feet in the door in a great company.

Why would you point to Hooters when you look at most upscale restaurants that require the girls working there to be scantily clad? To be honest, if they do have a problem with it.. perhaps they should dine or work elsewhere.. After all, Hooters is certainly not the only restaurant in town.

If you don't like it, don't go into the place. The women that work there seem to like it enough to stay there. They make good money. Do you make $200 to $500 a day? They make good money in tips. I don't think that there food is all that great, so I don't go there. I have seen enough T& A in my life to where it is no big deal. I would rather pay to have an excellent meal and good service. But, to each his own.

Nobody is forcing women to work there without pay, so that argument don't wash.

When she gets her *** beat by a cold-hearted master or her kids sold for not working, then you can talk about degradation.

i think it sort of commercializes and makes women seem like commodities

that woman in the photo seems ok with it, like she is proud of her body and doesn't mind showing it , and getting some tips

I like seeing it, she has a nice body, no harm in it I think

stripping or prostitution exploits women way more than that

not really.

There are certainly worse forms of degradation.

Hooters makes great hamburgers. I relish their buns. And, I always have mayo on the side.

Generally, yes. I think it is demeaning. Women are more than sex objects.
