listen to all the birds chirping out my window
Watching my bulbs pop out of the earth in my garden
smelling the rain showers,
wearing sandals , packing boots away
Loving the blue sky with fluffy clouds
hiding under my sheets when the first thundershower comes
buying a new bottle of sun block
look for a GREAT pair of sunglasses
dusting off my mountain bike
looking for the best Easter menu recipes
finding the summer concert series in the newspaper
spring cleaning my house, opening every window ~ ahhh , fresh air
anxiety about trying on a new bathing suit~white skin, ugh!
planning summer vacation
just a few things, I'M READY!!

I love spring - but waiting for the dreaded snow to melt and for the ground to be workable is horrible. I can't wait to get back into my flower gardens....I have so many new bulbs and perrenials to plant again this year.

Rake the lawn, pick up the junk from the winter, cut things back, and wait for it to dry out a little bit before I get into the garden stuff.

I'm going to decorate the guest room this weekend, I'm going to paint it lilac and decorate with different purple things. When I think of spring I think of Lilac bushes and how great they smell, so thats where that idea came from.

Im planning on fixing up our current beds (theyre so overgrown!), maybe amending the soil too. Then, when my mail-order plants arrive, plant them! Im also busy propogating seeds in containers to plant later ;)
Of course, Ill have to wait till my back heals before working on the beds o_O

I plan on planting a garden and getting rid of a bunch of stuff to get ready for wedding gifts.

I've already gone to the post office and mailed my care package to my solider and I have already stopped by the store for some meow mix for my kitty. I am really tempted to stop by the hardware store for some gladiola bulbs.
