Which of these drawings are better?

Which one of this drawings do you think is better?

I think that both are really good--but I like the amount ofdetail in the first one. However, the stark background makes the figure more striking in the second one...

Some may prefer the first because it's full-body and shows off more skills, as it also includes background, clothing, etc.

I personally like the second, though, because it's more natural, and because the pose and how close it is makes it much more personal. Plus, the skin details and texture are very well done, and the hair looks softer and more realistic than in the first. I'm probably just biased because I tend to draw realistic manga-style rather than the whole full-blown anime in-your-face kinda thing, but yeah. I like the second best. X3
