It's a sport. There is either wrestling for entertainment or the real thing in high schools which are different from one another. I think the wrestling you don't like is the entertainment one which include TNA, ROH and the WWE. TNA is my fav, it shows good wrestling. Prowrestling is what they are called. Professional wrestling.

If you are talking about WWE, TNA or ECW, they are all dramas. The purpose is entertainment and nothing else. Now a days nudity is included in wrestling to attract people. Girls does morally bad activities on TV for little money. Anyways this was not your question. Answer to your question is either by definition or if you were talking about wwe etc, they are all fake prescripted dramas.

These days, wrestling is a fake, mostly preplanned drama for the sole purpose of entertainment. It makes a good franchise for selling airtime, making money of ads, merchendise & related products. Thats what wrestling is all about.

An entertaining exhibition (to some people) that is put on by some very talented athletes. If your talking about pro wrestling that is.

In the past it used to be a real sport, but nowadays wrestling is not exactly real. they just plan who's going to win the match before they actually fight. also, most of the times they dont hit each other they're just acting or pretending to fight each other.

A mix of sports and entertainment. Matches are choreographed, but it takes talent to perform an athletic contest that makes the viewer suspend disbelief.

I remember years and years ago, I was back stage at a WWF event. I saw all the wrestlers sitting around a monitor watching the event in the ring. I saw opponents going over what they were going to do in the ring. It was comical when you watch them scream bloody murder at each other, when moments before they were buddy, buddy in the back.
It is entertainment.

wrestling is fake but to me it is also very entertaining how the superstars...." fight "( lol )and they also do stuff they dont like to do but wrestling is something entertaining and fun to watch even though it is fake
