Don't get a phone to be your pda, get a PDA and a cellphone separately. But, if you don't feel like taking my advice -
get a blackberry, all the bugs are worked out.

I would recommend getting a phone that runs Windows Mobile. You can sync the data to your PC with it, install apps onto it, and you don't have to pay for any extra monthly costs to own it like you do with Blackberry. I own a phone like this and love it! Depending on the provider you choose, the MotorolaQ is a great phone. I hope this helps!
