listen to jenevive's advice.

You 'separate' from a husband, you 'break up' with a boyfriend.

Wow...I am so sorry to hear that! It is hard to know what to say without more details, but since you seem to think he needs a gift, I'm guessing that you did (or said) something that hurt him very deeply. Or you wouldn't feel the need for such a makeup gift (I'm guessing). The best thing that I can suggest is for you to call him and leave a really long message that says exactly how you feel...don't leave out the angry parts, just be real. He'll know if you're being sincere and just let him decide whether to come back to you or not. Gifts are not the way to go...he needs to know that you care about him and that is rarely expressible through a gift. Just talk to him and make him understand that you want him back. And pray for enlightenment and guidance. Good luck!

Ok first of all if you and your husband "broke up" or either separated or divorced. What do you need a gift for that is only implying that you did something wrong (unless you did do something wrong). Like when a cheating husband buys his wife roses after he just banged his "sancha".

Is it his b-day? I would give it more time before you by him any gifts. Let him bring you flowers or something. I been separated from my husband 7months and when I seen him after 7months I brought him a hat, it's something he always liked, hats. So wait a while. I think it's to soon.

Your husband? You break up with a boyfriend...but not a husband! If you got in a fight and want to make up, talk to him. Or better yet, sleep with him. Nothing says "I'm sorry" like a good ol' fashioned *******.
