I would be less worried about the child support enforcement agency and more worried about the IRS. They can put you in prison for tax evasion. Wouldn't it just be easier to pay the support? Even if he/she doesn't have a relationship with the kid and hates it's mother/father, the kid still has to eat every day. People that dodge support just kill me with their stupidity. They deserve everything they get. And the IRS is offering money to whistle blowers so he/she better hope nobody turns them in.
And to the ones that think they are being smart by working under the table. Well what happens if you get hurt and can't work. Then you are ineligible to collect social security disability because you aren't paying into the system. Same thing when you retire. It may not be much, but you won't get anything.

YOu actually have 3 years to file and return for a particular year (i.e.: '03 taxes should be filed no later than '06).Now if someone has a lein on thier tax refund (persay; juvanile authorities) and they never file txes the IRS WILL COME AFTER THEM. It's just a matter of time. Tell this person to file Chapter 13 bankruptcy( wage earner) and they can file taxes every year and the irs cannot mess with their refund as long as they are under wage-earner and it is up to date on payments. The second thing is they need to pay the support to the children; they didn't ask to be in this f'ed up world.

That's really stupid because the IRS doesn't play around. Besides, what kind of scumbag tries to dodge paying child support. With any luck, this guy will go to prison for a LONG time.

I've got news for this idiot. In most states, even if the kids are grown and gone and you never paid child support, the meter keeps ticking, building interest and one way or the other, you WILL end up paying it. Even if they have to get it from your Social Security many years down the road.

They would be in big trouble, and the next year when they filed they would probably have to pay. That is why a lot of Dad/.moms take under the counter jobs so the irs won't know and they avoid paying child support.

Well regardless of the child support issue, this person should be in jail for tax evasion. Its all the more worse that he's avoiding it to avoid paying child support. I'd suggest contacting the IRS and having him busted.

Federal Prision is where they will be spending some time..Taxes are no joke..you dont pay...they will find you one way or another...What people dont realize it the company they work for sends everything to the IRS anyways...So that when you file they can make sure nothing got messed up..So the government already has your info...and not filing after 7 years a red flag goes out...and they contact the palces you work.

They should be shot. But that isnt possible. Theres not a lot that can be done on your part. If you have a court order and this person isnt paying the support ordered by the court you can have contempt charges filed against this person and they could go to jail. Most of the time the state isnt much help and you have to go it alone, but it isnt hard just go to the law library in the court house.

If that persons getting paid under the table then they could probably get away with it by keeping hush hush. If it's not under the table though they will catch up to that person. And the IRS and the Friend of the Court will shove their foot so far up that's person other end it won't be good! Anyone who would hide that is a worthless father and a poor excuse for a human.

they are a smart person, but even if he gets caught he will go to jail for tax evasion and you still get no money! I would feel bad for you but last time i checked it takes two to make a kid and so you knew what the guy was like from the beginning, or you were easy in that case id not give it up so quick

Report them to the IRS. Also, if you have a child support order that needs to be enforced, contact your local child support enforcement agency and apply for services at little or not cost.
