My son does this all the time. Fortunately, plastic is easy to clean and doesn't damage easily. Regular Mr Clean spray cleaner and a scrub brush will do the trick.

You can use a blow dryer to heat the crayon and then just wipe it off with a clean towel.

The magic eraser!!! I was sent a free one a while back and I can't believe all the things it can clean -- and you really don't have to rub very hard. Just wet it and go for it.

Scrub with soft scrub or comet on a damp sponge. It'll come right off.

fume-free oven cleaner will even take permanent marker off plastic tables....
