I was laid off from my full time job and qualified for unemployment. Now I just got a part time job, and it will more than likely lead into full time, and its for a wonderful company that Im sure will have allot of opportunities for me in the future. But I wont be able to get by on that job alone, and so I was wondering if now my unemployment checks will stop?

Depends on how much you were making.
Say your unemployment check was $450 /week. Your P/T job paid $200 /week, your Unemployment check would be $250.

When you call in this Sunday, you have to report that you are employed and tell them how much you make a week - and if it's under the unemployment, then you will get the difference, if it's over, then yes, the unemployment will end.

Partial unemployment will be based on earnings vs benefits. Check with the UE office

that is a slippery slop as you may be eligible for some benefits as being under employed but there is a cut off point check with your unemployment department on the exact policy or better yet have a friend do that for you.

From what I understand, unemployment checks stop once you are employed, either full time or part time. Check with your unemployment office to be sure, though.
