My wife helps out in our child's private elementary school. She thinks she may have wittnessed verbal abuse of children. The teacher regularly yells at this child who might have ADD saying loudly "I can not deal with you anymore. Get out of here". We are pulling our child out but are concerned about other kids. It does not appear other parrents are aware of it. What should we do?

Please do alert the owner/operator of the private school and tell them of your findings. Teachers should be compasionate and have patience. Yelling at a child is acting like one. Everyone knows the lower you speak to a disruptive child the more respect you gain. The teacher should have a conference with the parents if the child has or is suspected of having ADD. Or bring it up at a PTA meeting.
