I dont have a problem with interracial people. But sometimes mixed kids get picked on and bullied in school.

My husband is from Africa and when I was pregnant I thought about the racism, but we have not had any problems, in fact quite the opposite. People always say how beautiful my daughter is and how pretty the mixed babies are. My babysitter is mixed as well and I have asked her being a teen if she ever has problems, she said never has anyone ever said anything to her other then "I wish I was that color". Babies are a blessing no matter what color they are.

I'm actually a little jealous because I've never met an ugly interracial person. I don't understand the attitude, but try not to let it affect you. Focus on the fact that you are having a baby and will have someone to love forever. Ignorant people won't see that, but you will. Good luck on the rest of your pregnancy.

My experience is that mixed babies are usually the most beautiful and exotic looking. It is amazing how gorgeous they can be. I have no problem at all with the mixing of races. I think that it is a shame when people look down on people for loing who they love.

It's all good til u start mixin' hoods!!! You should know better than anyone that the hispanic community is close and tight knit. Most of my hispanic friend's parents are straight racist. They only want babies of their own kind. To this I say forget 'em. They don't have to raise that baby you and your child's father does. Just look at 'em and smile even brighter because no matter what color that baby is that is still YOUR baby. As long as its healthy, that is all you need to worry about. Just make sure you and your family are happy.

I have an interacial child, i only experienced the racism once i had my baby, going from the nurse asking me what country i had adopted from, to kids telling her they didn't want her kind on the school bus. Some people are narrow minded and unfortunately pass this on to their children, but thank God not everyone is that way.

Enjoy your baby.

Interracial babies are just like any other baby. They are all cute and a gift from God. Don't let all those racist people get to ya. You are truly blessed by being able to give life to a beautiful baby no matter of it's race. May God bless you and that precious little one.

People are ignorant, don't worry about what they say. Interracial babies are everywhere and they are beautiful. In fact, they are the babies of the future. Have you ever seen those studies done of what people are going to look like in the future. They are a compilation of many different races and they are medium skinned, not white, not black, just somewhere in between.
Just ignore these people there is not much else you can do. Someday when they meet their maker they will realize how wrong they are to waste their time judging such senseless things.

I think they are beautiful! I always loved the idea of having an interracial child. I grew up with freckles and the thought of giving my child beautiful smooth skin was so appealing!! (go figure I married a man who is just as pale as me! lol)

I am sure you are going to encounter this intolerant attitude from time to time, but on a whole, I feel society is very accepting of an interracial child. Don't let it get you down!

People are mindless at times! You're baby will be beautiful no matter what race he/she is mixed with. Don't mind ignorant people. To God, we're all the same! Besides, who's business is it that your baby is mixed? Stop telling people. Not saying to be asamed or anything, its just that everytime you expose your business like that, you're giving someone the opportunity to hurt your feelings or say something off-colored. You don't need the stress while you're pregnant.
When you do decide to share your baby's mixed race with others be sure to tell them how proud you are to be blessed with one of God's most precious gifts!
