I bought a victoria secrets bra off of ebay for 5 dollars. In the store it is like 50. It seems like alot of people had like 20 of the same bra for sale. When it arrived the tags were cut off of it but it seems to be the same one. Or is it? Where do they get them all? Do they steal them?

I've heard of people who wait for a sale at someplace like Kohl's and then buy lots of clothes and sell them on Ebay for a profit. Not sure about bra's though. I'm sure some stolen merchandise is being sold also.

Hi – I sell on eBay. I profit about $3,500 a month. eBay has been my full time job for 4 years, and I have sold over 12,000 items.

I find alot of NEW items at thrift stores. I live in a big city where we have lots of really good thrift stores.

I know of a lingerie wholesaler that sells the VS items, and yes, you can get them very cheap. It is lingeriemart.com

Tags are removed to prevent store returns. For example, when items are removed from the store to make room for new merchandise, the old stock is either sold to an off price store like Marshalls or Big Lots, or to a wholesaler. The retailer, Victoria Secret, removes the price and bar code so that someone purchasing the item at Big Lots cannot then go back to VS and return it for store credit. There are alot of dishonest people out there!

Some can definately be stolen, but for the most part, this is how the retail industry works. Also, sometimes it is better for the retailer to donate old stock to a thrift store (new with tags) and take the charitable donation tax deduction, than to sell an item at a loss.

Please email me directly and I can share more information with you.

They get them from all over the place. They buy them in bargain bins, buy out lots of luggage from airports lost and found, buy them direct from the manufacturers, go to China and get them directly, and much much more.

But a lot of clothing items are also not original. That is one of the hardest things to do - to convince people to buy your product because it is real and not a fake. Many people would rather pay the cheaper price of the fake, and those that dont know about fakes would never know if what they got is real or fake.

In the end, it is all up to the consumer. If you see a brand name item, if they tell you its from factory closeout or a factory reject or something like that, you can ask the manufacturers directly if they do sell them like that. A lot of the more expensive brands do not, and only have very exclusive wholesale distribution outlets.

So with a little bit of forethought, you can avoid buying the fakes.

But there are also many off brands that are not as expensive as the major brands, and look very similar, if not are exactly similar, to the more expensive brands. You can get some great buys and get some spectacular clothing and items for a really low price.

If you are interesting in selling clothes, drop me a line and I can help hook you up to a few people.

They get them from everywhere. They purchase them in solid purchase packing boxes, purchase out quite a few of luggage from airports lost and found, purchase them direct from the manufacturers, bypass to China and get them without placed off, and a lot a lot extra. yet an impressive style of clothing products are additionally now not unique. that's between the toughest subject concerns to do - to cajole human beings to purchase your product because of the certainty it quite is real and not a pretend. many human beings might quite pay the decrease value of the pretend, and persons that dont comprehend approximately fakes might in no way comprehend if what they have been given is real or pretend. indoors the precise, that's all as plenty because of the fact the buyer. in case you spot a sort call merchandise, in the event that they inform you its from production unit closeout or a production unit reject or some ingredient like that, you will possibly be able to ask the manufacturers without placed off in the event that they do sell them like that. an impressive style of the extra costly manufacturers do now not, and basically have very unique wholesale distribution shops. So with quite of forethought, you will possibly be able to stay away from determining to purchase the fakes. yet there are additionally many off manufacturers that are actually not from now on as severe priced because of the certainty the main substantial manufacturers, and look very comparable, if now not are precisely comparable, to the extra costly manufacturers. you will possibly be able to get some great buys and get some superb clothing and products for an fairly low-priced. while you're interesting in merchandising clothing, drop me a line and that i'm waiting to help hook you as much as 3 human beings.

yeah, we get major swipes from people stealing to sell the stuff on the net, that's how they make a living, very sad, but very true! we actually have caught some "non proffesionals" who steal and take their stuff to places where they can get cash for bringing in clothes. (like consignment shops that pay for "gently used items") i don't think vs sells their stuff to other stores when it's old, we actually have to ship discontinued items out of our store to be re-marked for semi-annual sale. so, all of our bra's stay within our company, we just keep selling them for cheap until they're gone. same with beauty products, that's why if there's a discontinued fragrance, you can usually find it at the semi-annual sale, because it's been stored to sell then. so if you get a "new" bra for 5 bucks, it's probably either fake or stolen...sorry:(

They usually don't have the overhead that regular stores do, that is lights, heat, building, insurance, so on. Some even when they warehouse they rent storage units to hold merchandise. That is how they do it.
