I suppose there is much "evidence" to support any theory when alien visitation is in question.... although we do not seem to have a overwhelming amount of physical evidence (in museums, etc) to support alien visitation, there are a large number of sworn statments claiming eye witness accounts. i guess the question is, are you willing to beleive the accounts from numerous military, governments, and citizens?
check this out, for a video of eye witness testimony from many of those who supposedly "know" the truth:

I wish I could find the link... But I was once researching "Project Blue Book" -- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Blue_Book -- and I found a government website (ended with .gov) that stated something to the effect of " ... there were 700+ unexplainable sightings ... " -- that is, sightings the government, to date, has not been able to explain but they have tons of documentation showing "something" occured.

What is this obsession with aliens? There is absolutely no hard evidence at all. The people who see UFOs are those who have zero skill at identification or zero knowledge of space. The experts never see these things, even though many of them have jobs where they are observing/photographing the sky constantly.
Only mentally disturbed people say they get abducted.
Invent something out of nothing, and later moan and groan that the government is covering it up.
Why not just go and learn as much real stuff as you can.

No alien ever did or ever will visit earth.
There is no proof that they exist but it is a certainty that they do.
They have been extensively featured by science fiction writers so you can expect that they would have many fans that could attest to their existence even to the extent of that they had personal contact with them

They're here! They're here! They've landed! Over on the mall! They've landed!
We have come to visit you in peace and with goodwill.
I'm worried about Gort. I'm afraid of what he might do if anything should happen to me.
Gort? But he's a robot. Without you, what could he do?
There's no limit to what he could do. He could destroy the Earth.
I came here to give you these facts. It is no concern of ours how you run your own planet. But if you threaten to extend your violence, this Earth of yours will be reduced to a burned-out cinder.
Gort! Klaatu barada nikto!

No, not a single shred of physical evidence has been produced - no pieces of a space ship with alloys that we are unable to produce - nothing to show that we have been visited by extraterrestrials. Its like religion - nothing but unsubstantiated claims of person experience.

Zero.
None.
ZIP.
Nada.
Now, this does not mean it's impossible; I try and keep an open mind. BUT, there's just NO physical evidence that withstands rigid, peer accepted scientific scrutiny.

No, there is no true evidence known to the general public at the least. If there was any evidence then we don't know about it, like some people actually beleive.

No, there is no evidence. It is therefore highly unlikely (though not impossible) that aliens have ever visited Earth.
