my cousin has been dating my best friend ever since i introduced them at my place.
although my friend is a great guy, he has a habit of cheating on all his girlfriends.

i am very close to my cousin, should i tell her about my mate, or is that like being unfair to my best mate?

Please tell your friend,,,gently,,that you have reason to believe he is a player,,, and if it matters to her,,she will ask why you think so, and she can then decide if she wants some one like that. at least she will respect your honest concern. If she gets hurt by this guy,,she may blame you.

You need to ask yourself, what do you lose by not telling your cousin about your friend? Let me guess, FAMILY, your cousin who's very close to you. What do you lose by telling on your best mate? Maybe your best friend.

So which relationship do you value more? I would tell the cousin how I feel (before the mate cheats on her) so that she can make up her mind for herself. That way, you'll have a clear conscience, if it all goes awry.

Tricky one. Your friend is not nice to put you in this position - but before you say anything, find out if he is cheating on your cousin. If you think he is, have it out with him. And make sure your cousin 'just happens' to come along and see this.

Me and my cousin are very close and if that was happening to there i would tell her straight away. Friends don't usually last forever but family are the ones who are mostly there. (well in my case anyway)

Think about who is closer to you and who you value more - her or him? Think of a situation when she discovers his "habit" herself one day and reproaches you for not having told her. ... Well, I would at least drop a hint to her before its too late.

Just quitely mention it to her, and make her keep it to herself. If it comes back to you through him...just tell him you told the truth, and family comes first.

FAMILY FIRST AND IF YOU KNEW THAT THEN OFF RIP YOU EITHER SHOULD NOT HAVE HOOKED THEM UP OR YOU SHOULD HAVE TOLD YOUR COUSIN THAT FIRST AND MADE IT CLEAR TO YOUR FRIEND THAT YOUR COUSIN COME FIRST SO YOU MIGHT BE WRONG
