I went to the Georgia Aquarium last year with my husband and 3 yr old. It was February and COLD! Now, I have to tell you that the aquarium is so busy you have to call ahead for tickets, and pick an arrival time. We did that. We chose an early time because it was part of our daughters birthday present and we didn't want to be there cutting into her afternoon nap. Anyway, after checking our coats inside, we started on our aquarium adventure. About 10 minutes into it, the alarms sounded and we were evacuated to the very cold air with no jackets. Now, I wasn't happy about this, but I could understand. Here's the part where I freak. After standing outside for 20 minutes, freezing, they led us back to the original line and we waited...again...for almost 45 minutes. When I got home, I immediatly wrote a letter. Never heard a thing from them. Today, I got an email asking if I'd like to purchase an annual pass!!! I can't even believe it!!! What's your best story???

I was working on a couple of assignments, one of which required photos to be sent out the next day, so I stopped by a local drug store chain that offered one-hour photo. I dropped by film off and waited (I had to get to another assignment in an hour and a half). After an hour, I asked about my photos and was told (in a very snippy manner) that one-hour was not available because the machine was not working but they were trying to get the printing machine working. They had already run the film through and got negatives, so when I asked for my film back, they said no. Then the woman who was running the photo department got annoyed that I was waiting and she walked away and started to do all of her work in slow motion. Turns out she was also the manager on duty, so I got nowhere that way. When I finally got my photos over 2 hours later (she finally realized I wasn't going away), they charged me the one-hour rate and I was late for my next assignment. I also got nowhere with the store's regional headquarters. I understand that machines break, but that's no excuse for the way I was treated (forgot to mention that she yelled at me at one point).

I had dental surgery which my insurance covered but the office kept billing it improperly. They told me not to pay it until they got it straightened out. finally they did and I paid. Six months later I went for a cleaning and check up and the same thing happened. Again they told me to wait to pay until they got it straightened out. Only instead of letting me know there was a different problem with the insurance they turned me over to collection. It took a three minute phone call for ME to get the insurance fixed and they made sure i knew that it was the dentist office's fault. Needless to say I called and let them have it and didn't go back. I later heard of quite a few people who had similar problems so I went a step further and wrote the dentist personally at his home and told him basically that his office staff sucked. He sent a thanks for your letter letter but that was it. Even later I found out that is niece is the office manager. Her fault he is losing business!!!

I was at Great America and took the Skytram over with my son.

When we got to the other side, we were asked to step over to one side, as the security guards needed to talk to us about something.

After five minutes I asked what the problem was, and the ride jockeys said they would find out.

Another five minutes passed and still nothing, so I said was anyone going tot alk to us, as i would like to get on with my day.

I was very patient, but I said I would leave if no one spoke to us. I was assured that they would be over in five mintues.

At the end of 15 total minutes. I told them I was leaving and left. They just watch me go. I still never found out what it was all about, nor did they say anything as i left

I was checking out at a store a few years back during Christmas. As i was leaving I said "Thank You, Merry Christmas".
The woman went bazerk! She made a scene saying how offensive I was and that if i ever showed my face in her store again she'd call the police!
I thought Christmas was supposed to be a happy time...guess not for everyone!

I was buying a Nintendo 64, and I didn't want the clerk to put the box in one of those huge bags. So I had them tape the receipt to the box and off I went. When I walked out of the store I was stopped by these two CID investigators. (yes i was in an Army PX) They said that I had stolen the thing and would have to go with them. Even though the receipt was there, we had to review 2 hours of surveillance footage with the M.P.s and my 1st Sergeant. When they realized I hadn't stolen it, they didn't even apologize.

I really to not know about AQUARIUMS unless the reason is for the purpose of helping to reform creatures back to VEGANISm, which I do not think that is the case today.

But I guess my worst experience was in fact ALL THE TIMES I engaged in supporting "rape" or murder.... it was tragic, I was tragic.
