I was serving food to a retirement community, and a old lady ask me" What do you prefer to be called ***** or colored?" I laughed at the question but realized she was quite serious about it. I answered her, but my friend says that I should not have. What do think?

People like these make be so made- because no matter what the race WE ARE ALL GODS CHILDREN. Pure 21th century and we are still dealing with these kinds of people.
I would tell that person that I am an African American AND PROUD OF IT!!!, and that colored people are all those people that go out to the beach and to the parks to get a tan- I WOULD CALL THESE PEOPLE COLORED!!!!!!!!!:-( Don't you agree. ;-)
