Not a question to make you angry, just curious...why is it that everyone defends all the good that Bush does? I have not seen it and would like an honest and intelligent example of how he is a great leader...just looking for someone else views, I know why I don't like him...why should I like him?

Here is ONE of my biggest reasons for NOT liking him. I'm a teacher, and although it is ALWAYS my job to make sure kids "get it", he has made our job so much harder with his NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND that we can't hardly function. We are to make sure ALL kids get it. Spelling is no longer graded so now we can pass this child on to the next grade. Some of our children can't get math, but are good at enough at everything else, we HAVE to pass them on. Some children can't read, but they've got the rest of it, so PASS THEM ON. NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND means that the ones we know need another year in their grade CAN'T be kept back. The only way now we can leave them in another year is if the parent ASKS us to. Its pathetic. We can no longer "make an example" of a child's behavior in the classroom. We have taken away the things that while it may cause some embarrassement to the child, it teaches them a lesson. Our principal is so overwhelmed with everything else she has to do, most of the time the only way she sees some of our kids is when they are in trouble. If they don't want to learn, OH WELL. We as teachers are being asked to create CLONES that will just do what they are asked with no questions. Sheep to lead to the slaughter of their future and I can't stand it!!!! He's an arrogant SOB, and smiles at you when he makes statements that say basically "This is how it is and you can't do **** about it".

Bush Version 1 worked for an out of work Actor, that we elected President. He opened a can of whoopass on the middle east but was unable to finish, then Clinton the fornicating Gov'nuh, came into office, who didn't actually continue the war but delay it just long enough to restore balance to the American Wealth. Then hell froze over, and Bush Version 2 was launched, after a the most retarded voting scam ever. What did America do to fix it? Nothing. Bush V2 continued in his Daddy's footsteps, and kept misspeaking himself in the public's eye. So much in fact he became the laughing stock of presidents. During his run, several Senate member jump ship from Republican to Democrat.

I cant stand the BUSH's. Daddy was the top CIA guy, aka the PUPPETMASTER and he knows how to make JR dance very well. Dick Cheney, leader of Haliburton, the Bin Ladens and The Bushs are after one thing profit.

But heres one good support FOR BUSH, in a time of national security, your first move to protect YOUR country is to move all family members in the BIN LADEN family out of the country. NICE MOVE CHIEF! PROTECT YOUR A$$ets

I hope you get a good answer....though I haven't seen one yet!

I've actually been wondering the same thing for a long time now!

To the poster above me: I haven't seen a tax cut... I guess I don't earn enough... all I've seen since Bush has been president was my tuition go up $950 (From $2300 to $3250!!!) a semester because he cut the federal funding for state sponsered universities.

To the poster below me: How in the Hell did he stop the Tailban??? They are still alive and well and killing people the last I heard!

And the lady with the long-@$$ list up there: I applaud your ability to answer this question thoroughly, however, have you ever stopped to think that all these things might NOT be good to ALL people... especially the abstinence only education - yeah, a lot of kids that works on, eh???

From national polls, the majority of Americans are not defending Bush. Most Americans think that Dubya is doing a terrible job. He current conflict with Congress just show the degree of desperation he is feeling. He is unwilling to undergo public scrutiny. Thomas Jefferson felt that secrecy in the government was the first step on the road to despotism.

All its a political propaganda. All politics in all over the world make a propaganda to listen them. The propaganda always its a beautiful fake so do not listen the politics. If yoy See something good in the work as a government then support that if you See something bad then you know what to do.

I like Bush because he was a great gov. here in Texas.

As president, he toppled Saddam and the Taliban, which is good for the world. He pushed the economy out of the recession it was left in during the last year of Clinton (which I do not blame Clinton for), and pushed through laws making home ownership easier.

He appointed more minorities than any president ever, and placed the first blacks into real powerful positions. The diplomatic face of the USA is a black woman. I think that is great.

I hate Bush. He thinks that the Constitution doesn't apply to him.

You have a tough case trying to prove that Bush is a good leader.

I just had to laugh at no name... She's a big fan apparently...

WOW!!! I wonder if she is Bush's secretary helping him create his resume?? Too bad most the things on that list are untrue or glorified beyond belief.

Because he actually chose to deal with a very tough situation rather than pass it on. Whether or not he has made the right choices in the process might be up for discussion, but he made the decision that needed to be made. That is where the difference between his supporters and his detractors comes into play.

The supporters, whether or not they actually approved of his choices, support him because he is the Commander In Chief who had to make a difficult decision. Most Repubs (I won't say all because there are always exceptions) felt similarly to about Clinton's choice to go into the Bosnian affair. Once the decision had been made to do it, they supported it.

The detractors didn't approve of his choices, and choose to continue to undermine his decision through their various means. To me, they are little better than the enemy. Dissent is one thing. Betrayal or siding with the enemy is another.

a few things I think about:

1. Hes moral. He is not running around on his wife, a drunk or using his office to gain from it immorally. He loves the unborn and wants them to be safe.
2. He's honest. Despite what the democrats say, I feel that he has shown himself to be honest. He is someone who can talk straight, but politics isnt what it used to be.
3. He loves america.
4. He has a heart. He breaks down, sheds tears, not for the camera, but because his heart is touched by the hurt and pain of service men and women.
5. He believes citizens out to keep more of their money. We are over taxxed and need relief, and since he has been in office we are getting more money back.
6. He driven and doesnt back down. This can be a positive and a negative. He sees the war as it is, we must stop this terror campaign or we will be hurt here in the USA. The negaive is that if he makes a bad decision, he must live with the fallout.
7. Im not a democrat or republican, Im an american. I vote for the man/woman who views the world closest to the way I feel God would want.
