They are both excellent contestants and both excellent singers but so far I think Melinda has shown more personality and had better song choices. She is totally amazing. I would buy albums by both of them and Jordin Sparks as well.

Melinda is amazing!
By far the most all around presence of a contestant to date
She will go very far after she wins- she is flawless and a charming warm person.

Melinda has MUCH more control over her voice.
Lakiesha is great...but only seems to be able to have a strong voice.

Melinda, imo is very talented and she has a wonderful aura (sp?) about her. Im not too crazy about lakisha at all and that last song about diamonds was lame and boring.
