I just moved to TN and we bought a house I would really like to plant some fruit but I'm not sure what does well in TN Any advice? Thanks!!!!

I think the correct way to phrase your question should be: Which fruits can't I grow in Tenn. There are far fewer to list that way.

You're quite blessed being in either USDA hardiness zone 6 or 7. I could only wish for such a problem.

Apples, Pears, Cherries, Peaches, Nectarines, Plums, Raspberries, Blue Berries, Currants, most Nut trees, Strawberries and many many more are all available for your gardening pleasure. OH and Apricots.

We have blackberry bushes which are so productive. Also peach trees, apple trees, grapevines, rasberry bushes, fig trees, blueberry bushes. In TN all these that I advise would even do better because TN is warmer than NY.

Rapsberries
Tomatoes
Brambles
Kiwi
Medlar
Melons
Nectarines

Persimmons
Plums
Wild Fruit
and each of those and have tons of different kinds ie apples.

so if you are looking to do some gardening look for a book at your local lib. about your temper area and see what you like best.
