This is a good question because if you bid low, you'll be resentful, and if you bid high, you won't get the job. Make someone else do the work for you--call anyone you can find in the yellow pages and ask them the same question. Then call a rental company and ask what the cost is to rent the buffer, and the cost of the pads. Deduct what you think is reasonable from the professional's rates and bid that. Make sense?
