The 19 Kitchen-Bar on top of Harvey's has nice views of the lake. Very romantic.

I lived in South Lake Tahoe for a year and by far my favorite dining experience was at the Riva Grill. It has an amazing lake view, fireplaces, a great selection of seafood, and a decent wine menu as well. They also have different happy hour specials for fish tacos and rum runners, which although the specials are great, you may want to avoid those times if you are going for a romantic dinner. Also, there are several small restaurants located along Ski Run Blvd. If romantic is what you are looking for, I would avoid the restaurants located in the casinos. They tend to have large groups come in which can very easily ruin the atmosphere. If you do want to stay in the Heavenly Village area, Kalanis also has a very nice atmosphere and a decent sushi menu as well.
