I'm going to go to my new boyfriend's place for the first time tomorrow. Should I bring anything? I thought a bottle of organic white wine, which we both love, might be nice.

Any other suggestions? I don't want it to be too housewife-like

yeah, that would be good. But, since this is your new boyfriend and it's his house (i'm assuming he lives alone), then he should be trying to impress you. You don't have to bring anything and he's probably not expecting you to do so.

If you were going to his family's home, then I would definitely bring something along.

Meeting for the first time? Is this an online thing or what? You might want to leave the wine at home and take a stun gun.You can never be too careful, and if something goes wrong with this um, boyfriend that you have never met, how stupid would that make you feel. I hope it turns out okay, but go slowly into this new relationship, you sound like you are jumping in with both feet. Use caution please.

If you have some money to spend, how about a gift card to a local home store, like the Home Depot or Lowe's? This can be very good for a new owner....and bring that organic wine as well - you need to celebrate!! :)

Wine would be nice. Also some organic olives & cheeses to go with it. Bring some money too, in case y'all go out & he doesn't have enough to cover expenses. Never mind that, you don't want to get that started. Wine & snack is good.

Yes. Bring something to drink and maybe a small dessert (store bought--not too housewifey)! It's polite not to come empty handed, but too early to bring something that will send the wrong message, like a house gift. Save that for later.

The wine sounds like a great idea. Other than that it might be a little much. Have a great night.

No , don't bring a thing , especially if there isn't a party going on , it will just show how desprate and how far you are willing to go to keep a boyfriend.
