My hair is curly and I use the Aussie products,I've tried all of the others, including Pantene but I like Aussie stuff better. Their prices are almost the same too.

my daughter is Australian/African American with 1/4 inch spiral curls...cute, but very hard to look after...
i order products from www.curls.biz which are expensive, but i dont use them much and only use a small amount when i do use them...
as her hair needs to combed out every day and there is no way that i can get a comb through it without conditioner i use the "Aussie" Moist conditioner and it works just great leaving her hair soft and with a lovely scent...
with curly hair you might want shampoo less and condition more...i shampoo my daughters hair once or twice a month...thats it! but i do rinse it with warm water and condition and comb every day...(no,her hair doesnt smell, its soft, shiny and she has beautiful defined curls that im constantly getting comments about)...
i also like the "Aussie Three Minute Miracle" as a deep treatment on her hair once a week...hair hair just soaks it all up and there is very little left leaving her hair so soft and shiny...(i leave it in for about 20-30 minutes with her hair wrapped in clingwrap and a shower cap over the top)...
check out the website... www.curls.biz for information on how to care for your hair, but if you do want something cheap from Walmart then i would think that Aussie is the way to go...

Loreal For Long-Medium Curly Hair it works good and its like 4-5 bucks. If you want to splurge, Catwalk products for curly hair are great! Also, Fructis curl gel in a spray works wonder on dry hair and so does cat walk curl spray

Frizz-Eaze - Great stuff. Without it I would look like a 'fro gone bad... Here in the Mid west it costs about 5$ for a bottle at Wal - Mart
