You're very lucky, not many people live through that, you just escape from the hands of death.

it happened to me about 2 years ago. I was 8 weeks pregnant and I went to get an ultrasound and the dr told me that he did not see a fetus. so i went back to by gyn and he took a blood test and told that i was pregnant. he knew from there it was an ectopic pregnancy. I went to surgery the very same day. I have these two very small scars right below my belly to show for it. Today I am 7 onths pregnant and since I had that ectopic pregancy i was very afraid that it would happen again. Belive it does happen more than you think. when I tell people about my surgery, there is always someone who can relate to me. There is no reason a dr can give you for why it happens. But i definelty feel very blessed this time around

I recently went to my doctor and expressed my concerns for getting pregant after an ectopic pregnancy and if there were any reasons maybe I should not try to get pregant.

She explained that each and every pregnancy is such a little miracle. A past ectopic pregnancy does not have much weight on later pregnancies..if your doctor gave you a go-ahead sounds like your body is ready and healthy for a baby.

After explaining how every pregancy that ends with a child is such a lil miracle, I realized how lucky we are each and every time we have a child.

* PS I am now 7 weeks :)

It has not happened to me as I am a man but it has happened to two ladies very close to me and I must tell you, I was involved with them every step of the way.

It was scary but it was not difficult however, I must tell you that these ladies have gone ahead to have other successful pregnancies without a recurrence. No side effects and so, my dear go ahead and have more babies.
