I was in Macy's the other day waiting to checkout and I noticed the woman in front of me had the same bag I had but worse her bag was falling apart. I felt insulted. I think that bags like what that woman was carrying is just flat out pathetic.

It really pisses me off to buy my FAVORITE designer and then someone else is walking around with a knock-off. Spend money just like I did LOSER!

totally! that is so disgusting when you see someone who's so not upperclass walking around with a fake knockoff bag! i paid 2grand for my bag for a reason!: to use it as a status simble... now these other people trying to take all my glory by buying cheap crap. it's sad.

no, i would never degrade myself to the point of pretending i'm something i am not!

No, I wouldn't because I don't give a hoot about names. So, I am on the other side of the spectrum as you are. I buy my purses at WalMart because I can find good ones that are as big as I want and last a few years, and I buy shoes that are made well and feel good, usually at Shoe Carnival or Kohl's. I don't need to show the world I can buy Prada or Coach or whatever -- I care about what works for me.

Give the people a break who want to carry or wear knockoffs. It is, after all, their business and doesn't hurt you a bit. Maybe you have a lot more spending money than they do. Don't hate them for that.

I don't buy knock-off's, but who would ever guess a hand bag would be a status symbol?? If you have to carry a hand bag to show who you are... uhhh...that says everything. I use my personality to impress people not my hand bag, although it's pretty nice too! LMAO!

You shouldn't worry about the woman with the knock-off bag in front of you in line, you should worry about working on your own flaws!

If they fit, if they look good, if I can afford it, then I will get it...

I clearly wasnt brought up to be a snob which have to have everything with a brand. People that put that much fake tan on they turn orange, or the people that bring straightners to work incase 1 strand of hair is firzzy... Well atleast I will have hair when I'm 30, unlike these sort of people.

Its just pathetic!

i feel the same way.i spent big bucks at louis vouitton and channel shades.now i do not buy vouitton anymore because of the zillion knockoffs-so many can be good.
the shades i keep buying because they protect my eyes well.
my ex gave me knockoff bulgari earings.i did not appreciate it! i might be a snob but i like to walk out of a store knowing it is the real deal.even if i am the only one that knows it came from there.i like original boxes, wrappings and shopping bags.
but some people just don´t know any better...i used to criticize this too...now i think:look this person is wearing something she considers nice and cool and she´s happy.ißm glad for her.
much better attitude,trust me!

umm...fyi some people cannot afford the brand name items so they buy knockoffs. I thought that the Seiko watch that I bought in Chinatown, NYC was fake but it turned out to be real. Just because you can afford to buy the real deal doesn't give you the right to judge others. Oh btw im wearing a pair of Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses right now (they're knockoffs)

yeah, but it's a good thing if you're not so well off-- getting a fake Prada bag that looks the same and throwing it away faster than the real time still saves you money!

Not everybody can shell out 100$ for a bag or whatever. . .

I'm pretty cheep. But I buy things only if I like it, if it looks good on me, and if it's well made.

Not because it's a knockoff of what you have.

(and anyone with a falling apart purse should just throw it away and get a new one. that's not any kind of stylish,--I see what you mean)

No I wouldn't buy either. I wouldn't buy a knock off b/c of the craftsman ship and b/c they are counterfeit (and illegal). I wouldn't buy the real thing b/c its a waste of money. I can get a lesser named purse for same quality w/o having to take out a loan.

I would never purchase anything fake mainly because they are made in sweatshops and usually by children!!! It is dangerous illegal work for the children and for the adults that are forced to make them for pennies.

Also if you designed something terrific and were selling it and I came along and copied your idea and made tons of money, how would you feel? We are literally wasting billions of USA dollars on other countries economy and supporting illegal activities.

Save up for the real thing or buy something similar from a cheaper store.

IT IS ILLEGAL TO SELL OR PURCHASE A KNOCKOFF!

YOU are the pathetic one! How dare you look down on people and think you are better than them! I feel sorry for you that you are so shallow! Besides, you are foolish for falling for the corporation's commercials telling you that you need to spend a big wad with them to find your self worth!!! All those big corporations love dumb people like you keeping them in business!!!
