I like almost every genre of movie. Except horror. I'll watch thrillers or suspense, but not horror.
I don't really like the teen flicks, they're too stupid.
I've seen alot of the new release over the past few months, so if there are any independent or smaller movies that you can suggest.
I'm a rare girl: I love gangster, war, and westerns; but also love a good romantic drama.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

I forgot to add that I particularly love English films. The humor, at times, is greater than many American comedies.

The African Queen w/ Bogart & Hepburn is great!
BoonDock Saints w/Billy Connolly, Willem Dafoe
is outstanding and edgy.
The Usual Suspects w/ Kevin Spacey will knock your socks off.
The Princess Bride produced by Rob Reiner is wonderful, off-beat, witty and great fun.
Fly Boys, based on stories of real people in the time just before America entered WWI was an interesting surprise.
If you haven't already, you should try checking out some of the old movies. There are so many great ones: Good-bye Mr. Chips; Mrs Miniver; Meet Me in St. Louis; To Kill a Mocking Bird; Breakfast at Tiffany's; My Fair Lady; The King and I; Bridge on the River Kwai. Hope you can enjoy some of these. I love good movies.

The Big White - funny story starring Robin Williams in a pecurious predicament. One of my all time favs.
And also, A Simple Plan. It's not a new release, but it's not old by any means. It's a story about three guys finding a big load of cash and how money can make people do things they never dreamed of. Great movie for those over 14.

Dead Again - It has suspense, mystery, and romance. The cast includes then married couple Emma Thompson and Kenneth Branaugh, with a good dramatic performance by Robin Williams.

If you can find two old British pictures, Lost Horizon with 'Ronald Colman, and The Red Shoes, with dancer Moira Shearer, dircted by Powell and Pressburger, you will be deeply satisfied and probably play them again and again, week after week. By then, I will give you some more titles. Gunga Din is another one, and is one of the first Cary Grant pictures in which he plays his real name, Archie Leach.
