Try something in the medical field. Maybe like with the Hipocratic oath that Doctors take. Say if they found out someone had AIDS and their significant other was always there visiting, the Doctor can't say anything to the other person that they are at risk or could already have the disease. Kinda unethical that a Dr. can't give this information to someone to possibly save their life because of the law. Similar story with psychiatrists. Alot of the stuff they hear can't be repeated, but they can break confidentiality if they feel someone or the patient is in danger. Just some food for thought, maybe those could get your creative juices flowing!

How about comparing the ethics and laws within a large law firm? The laws are one thing, but what is acceptable within the walls of a workplace are sometimes very unique. I think the more ethics the more interesting it will be.

I like the 2 answers that were posted that I read. I thought of one more idea. Doctors have to take an oath (the Hippocratic oath), that includes the phrase: "First, do no harm." California requires a doctor to administer the lethal injection to execute someone. California doctors have been refusing to participate in executions because of their Hippocratic oath. The law says: "execute him/her." The oath forbids it. What's a doctor to do?
