Yes, Dumbledore actually HAS killed someone. Remember Nicolas Flamel? They found out about him on the chocolate frog card. Well, on that same card, it also says "and his defeat of the dark wizard Grindelwald" implying that he was forced to kill the wizard in order to defeat him. It is the killing part that is evil in making a horcrux. Dumbledore is resourceful, if he had to rip his soul in half, he might as well make a horcrux right? And what better horcrux than faithful Fawkes?

I also think Neville's gonna play an important part in the last book.
R.A.B. is Regulus (A?) Black, and i'm not so shure he's dead.

i have a ton of faves. have you ever been to the hp sleuths page because it has a ton of theories along with mugglenet. i've heard things about sirius not being completely gone, or theories that his dead brother is the one who took the horcrux and that's why voldemort killed him. ummm...i like the one that says ron is going to die, not that i want ron to die but the theories behind it make a lot of sense. then i read some about the horcruxes and what they could all be. some say that voldemort himself is a horcrux, tom riddle(the diary) was a horcrux, and that there will be 6 horcruxes total. so if the theories are right harry has about 3-4 he needs to find in the last book. i've seen some on draco too. i still wonder if he's going to come out of the story a better person, or just as evil as his dad. from what i get from the books, he wants attention from his dad and that's why he behaves the way he does. he mother seems loving enough but he seems to crave his father's approval, so maybe he will stop this and have a "revelation" in the last book. either that or he could die.

first of all, keeping in mind that the way you go about making horcruxes is evil and sadistic and that dumbledore is completely good (i'm not saying he hasn't killed anyone, just that he wouldn't do something like that), i'd say that the fawks/horcrux theory is highly unlikely. that is to say, rubbish.
here's my big theory:
snape's not really evil, and the killing dumbledore thing was preplanned and completely necessay, but would not have had to be done if it wasn't for stupid narcissa malfoy and her unbreakable vow. dumbledore knew he was going to die. he left instruction for the order and for harry on defeating voldemort, and for mcgonagall on the running of the school. draco isn't really evil at heart and he is going to turn good. r.a.b. is regulus black. sirius isn't really dead. bill and fluer's wedding is going to get called off and lupin and tonks are going to get married instead, but one or both of them are going to die shortly after. voldemort is definitely going to die, but harry may or may not die too. so there's my theory.

I've heard a lot of theories such as:
Harry is the final horcrux
Harry will die
voldemort will die
Hagrid will die
Dumbledore isn't really dead
Serius isn't really dead
Lily and James will come back to life
The Weasley Twins will use their jokes to help fight voldemort
voldemort will end up killing ginny
voldmort will kill ron
voldemort will kill hermoine
and
Neville will play an important part more than ever
the last one is my favorite. since the beginning, neville has always stood out. maybe he will end up being the chosen one!

Oooh I've never heard of Fawks being Dumbledore's horcrux-but I like it! Seems likely as well......
Well either Harry or Voldermort has to die.....and i dont think that they're going to 'merge and become the ultimate'.....ron & hermione? ginny & harry? only the obvious. um.......... snape is......a weird character.........oh i dont know!! i only have who i think is going to be important and who just plain.......isn't! But.........I think Dumbledore will still play a major role, as will McGonagal (can't spell it!) Obv. Harry, Hermione, Ron & family, Voldermort, Malfoy & Snape. Malfoy has gotta switch sides as well.

I think that Harry is Lord Voldemort's 7th hortecrux. Dumbledore says in every book that somehow Lord Voldemort left a part of himself in Harry. I think for Voldemort to die harry must die.

Yeah, thats a good theory, about Fawks.
Go to Amazon.com and go to the bottom and there are hundreds of "threads" that people have put. u dont have to be a member, only to participate in the "thread". (read one titled "harry's last words", and some of them are hilarious, but not really serious)

Ginny is the final "something from Griffindor" horcrux...
Read the scene from "chamber of secrets" where Tom is dicussing how he has poured part of himself into her.
Then notice how her magic becomes really strong afterwards... like her bat bogey hex!!
