yes, i would agree,
when we remember an
event our emotional states
are not always in the same rhythm,
we have a persistence in emotions,
yet emotional inertia is incapable of keeping
up with our degrees in momentum of our
thoughts about remembering a past experience ~

Of course! My father once asked why it is when we reminisce about something, it seems so great. Yet, the actuality of it can't live up to our recollection? His best advice was to me, was to live and feel the moment. And I do. When I'm at the park with the kids, or out with the hubby, I take a breath and FEEL the happiness and contentedness. In that way, I often have very positive days.

The initial emotion will always be different. The memories may weaken or grow stronger depending on the experience.

I agree to a degree.....considering a smell or taste can revive a good nostalgic memory, and the same thoughts then & now take place....sometimes.

yes, and we look at old memories differently as we age, so we change what we've known into something else, you may need to get older to understand that logic dear. ♥ or maybe it's just drunken billy that sees things that way ♥
