First of all, you should call into your Local Job Centre, tell them what has happened, and you should be able to sign on with them. They will chase up the P.45 for you. If you have any payslips, take them with you to the Job Centre.
Maybe they will help you to find a job with a more reputable employer.
Good Luck.

Difficult question to answer without the full details. If you think you have suffered an injustice then go to the nearest Citizens Advice Bureau or to the local Employment Agency Office.
Failing that make an appointment to see your M P but remember to write all the details down of your complaint as they cannot act without the facts.

Issuing a P45 to you is required by law.
Inform your local Tax Office, I assume that you have been (to your knowledge) paying Tax and National Insurance.
It could be that your Employer has been taking monies from your wages and keeping them for himself.
Talk to him no more, if you are sure that Tax and N.I. has been deducted (it will show you on your pay slip). Go straight to the Tax Office and report your problem.
If you have been paid cash in hand without a pay slip and Conditions of Employment Contract you have no rights.
Best of Luck.

Well you will have to ask him for the p45, you will need it or you'll get emergancy taxed.
If he hasn't called you though he may not be employing you? Could be a possibility.
