my partner has just had a knee opp and can not bend it. apart from lady on top what other ways can we still have sex. he can not stand up with out his sticks.

sweetheart...use your imagination..there are so many things to do with intimacy...side by side from the back, woman on top, woman face down with man on top, mutual oral, oral one at a time, .... there are at least a 100 variations of what can be done... use props..stools, you name it...toys can be fun. IF you are not so conservative or shy, you will come up with new things that are great. Go for it. IT is between you two, not the neighbors...so stow the shyness and open up to new possibilities that may be better than anything you have experienced. Good luck.

a) Why wouldn't you want to be on top?
b) There are many variations of "lady on top." Have you explored them all?
c) I would suggest checking out the Kama Sutra. It has tons of great advice for couples. There are illustrated ones, modern ones, direct translations, all sorts of them. Personally I'd recommend an illustrated one. The positions get complex enough that it is nice to see the picture.

I would wait til my partner is healed or at least a little better! Give him some respect and chill! If he wants to have sex, explain to him his knee is still hurt!

It can be done standing up but with him on crutches it would be difficult for him to keep his balance.
Have him try it on top of you but keeping both of his legs rigid (you'll have to help him onto the bed and then slide under him).
